JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 8, 2017 – Did you know Missouri had four governors in five years? The history of Missouri’s government will be the topic June 15 at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the site’s historic building.
Learn about Missouri’s first Capitol in St. Charles and about the men who took Missouri from its infancy and helped form today’s state government.
The program is offered through the Friends of the First Missouri State Capitol and is part of an ongoing lecture series every third Thursday of each month. A $10 donation is suggested.
