Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 21, 2022 – Team members at Crowder State Park invite the public for a spring hike from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, April 3. 

Participants should meet at the lake parking lot for a 2-mile guided hike on River Forks Trail. Park team members will point out signs of spring and eagle nests along the Thompson River.

Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water and wear sturdy shoes and insect repellent.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
