The public is invited to celebrate Earth Day at Bennett Spring State Park.  Multiple activities will be hosted at the park starting at 10 a.m. on April 22 throughout the park.

Throughout the day, park visitors will be encouraged to help the environment and have fun with the "Trash Pick Up Challenge."

Activities and displays on water, soil and animals will be available 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Guests will be able to build their own bird house and take a tree sapling home, while supplies last.

At 2 p.m., park rangers will offer a bicycle safety class at Pavilion A.  Participants will learn the connection between woodpeckers and bicycle helmets.  Following the program, participants will be able to join in a bicycle parade to the Nature Center.
