Visitors to Onondaga Cave State Park will be able to get their copy of the book "Onondaga Cave" signed by author, Dan Slais. Slais will be available from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 28, July 2 and Sept. 3 in the nature room at the park.

The book "Onondaga Cave" is available for purchase at the visitor center retail shop. This book provides a well-rounded history on Onondaga Cave and is priced at $12 per copy. Visitors attending the book signing will also have the opportunity to see flint knapping and stone tool making demonstrations.

The author, Slais, is a geologist, former high school teacher and an adjunct professor of geology. His book provides insights into the natural wonder of Onondaga Cave.

Onondaga Cave State Park is located seven miles southeast of the Leasburg exit off of Interstate 44 on Highway H.
