JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 18, 2017 – Birds of prey will be the main attraction at a program May 27 at Montauk State Park near Salem. The program will be held at 2 p.m. in the field adjacent to the park lodge.

The World Bird Sanctuary will present an outdoor program featuring a bald eagle, owls and hawks. Handlers will allow some of the birds to fly just inches above the heads of the audience as they explain the unique characteristics of each bird of prey. The audience should bring their own lawn chairs for seating.
