The public is invited to BatFest2016 at Onondaga Cave State Park. The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on April 30 at the park.
BatFest visitors will be able to view exhibits on cave gear decontamination, White-Nose Syndrome, cave restoration, Missouri Bat Census and a live bird display from the World Bird Sanctuary.
Discounted tours of Onondaga Cave will be provided throughout the weekend on April 29-30.
The event is cosponsored by the Onondaga Friends Association. Event partners also include the World Bird Sanctuary, Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri Bat Census and Missouri Department of Transportation.
