JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 10, 2017 – Two bands will replace soldiers from the North and South during the "Battle of the Bands on the Battlefield" July 14 at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site in Lexington. The battle will begin at 7 p.m. and the victor will be declared at 9 p.m.
Perry Beam & the Franklin Hole Band and the Bucket Band will each play for an hour to convince the audience to cheer for their side. Cheers will determine the victor of the battle. The audience is asked to bring their own chairs for seating.
