Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 19, 2017 – Dan Slais, author of the book "Onondaga Cave," will be available May 27 to sign the book at Onondaga Cave State Park near Leasburg. Slais will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the park’s visitor center. Slais also will be available on July 1 and Sept. 2.

Slais is a geologist, a former high school geology teacher and adjunct professor of geology and the book provides a well rounded history of Onondaga Cave.

Also, Joe Taylor will be demonstrating flintknapping and stone-tool making.
