Release Date

Children ages three to ten are invited to hunt for candy-filled eggs at Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site in New Madrid.  The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. on April 15 at the historic site.

Kids are invited to bring a basket or bag and search for more than 1,500 candy-filled eggs. Children will be divided into four age groups during the hunt and prizes will be awarded.  The event is free and open to the public.
