Hawn State Park hosts combined public meeting June 2

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 21, 2018 – Hawn State Park invites the public to a combined informational meeting 2 to 4 p.m Saturday, June 2, at the park’s White Oaks Trail trailhead. The public is invited to share comments about Hawn State Park and Felix Valle House State Historic Site and their operations. Park and historic site staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

Hawn State Park is located at 12096 Park Drive, Ste. Genevieve. For more information, contact the park at 573-883-3603.
