Current River State Park hosts combined public meeting June 16
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 7, 2018 – Current River State Park invites the public to a combined informational meeting beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the park’s Current River Lodge. The public is invited to share comments about Current River State Park and Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry and their operations. Park staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
Current River State Park is located at 11053 County Road 19D, Salem. For more information about the meeting or about other events at the park, call 573-858-3015.
