Find nature's treasures during St. Pat's Day Scavenger Hunt at Graham Cave State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB. 28, 2018 – Visitors to Graham Cave State on St. Patrick’s Day will have an opportunity to find a variety of treasures in nature during a virtual scavenger hunt. The event is 10 a.m. to
3 p.m. on March 17 at the park.

Scavenger hunters will be given a series of clues that lead to interesting objects found in nature and located throughout the park, along with a map of the park’s 4.5 miles of trails. The event is family friendly, and participants can try to answer all of the clues, or they can choose to spend the day exploring the park.

The scavenger hunt list of clues and map are available at the park office. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, including layers and sturdy shoes. They should also bring a bottle of water, and insect repellent is also recommended.

Graham Cave State Park is located on Highway TT, 2 miles west of Highway 161 at the 170 Exit. For more information about the event, call Graham Cave State Park at 573-564-3476.
