Washington State Park hosts public meeting May 3

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 19, 2018 – Washington State Park invites the public to an informational meeting 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations. Park staff will be available to provide information about the park and answer questions. The meeting will be held in the park’s Shelter #1/CCC Ridge.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give park staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

Washington State Park is located at 13041 State Hwy. 104, DeSoto. For more information about the information meeting or other events at the park, call 636-586-5768.
