Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site hosts public meeting May 19

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 14, 2018 – Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site invites the public to an informational meeting beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19 in the historic site’s shelter. The public is invited to share comments about the historic site and its operations. Historic site staff will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.

Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site is located at 7850 N. State Hwy. V, Ash Grove. For more information about the open house or about other events at the park, call 417-751-3266.
