Guided hike at Crowder State Park April 1

Visitors are invited to a guided hike at Crowder State Park on April 1.  The hike will begin at 10 a.m. on April 1 at the Shelter 3 parking lot.

The hike will total seven miles on the south loop of Thompson River Trail.  The majority of this trail traverses loess/glacial till woodlands, which are dominated by white oak and hickory. In places, it provides a scenic view to the wooded valley below.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking shoes.  Participants should also bring a bottle of water and snacks.
