Missouri State Museum continues summer series for youth August 7 and August 14

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 26, 2018 – The Missouri State Museum will continue its Learning @ 11 and Tuesdays @ 2 summer program series for youth on Tuesday, August 7, and Tuesday, August 14, at the museum. On August 7, both programs will offer activities based on the theme “Missouri’s White-Tailed Deer.” On August 14, program activities will focus on the theme “Ice Age Hunters.”

The Learning @ 11 program begins at 11 a.m., and the Tuesdays @ 2 program begins at 2 p.m. Both programs will be held in the museum’s History Hall on the first floor of the Missouri State Capitol.

The Learning @ 11 program is designed for youth aged 4 to 7, while the Tuesday @ 2 is for ages 8 to 12. Both are activity-based summer programs that bring Missouri history and natural resources alive for their young participants.

The Missouri State Museum, which is part of the Missouri state park system, is located on the first floor of the Missouri State Capitol.
