Jefferson Landing State Historic Site kicks off Backyard Concert series May 19

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 14, 2018 – Jefferson Landing State Historic Site will kick off its 2018 Backyard Concert Series beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 19 on the lawn of the Lohman Building.

The public is invited to help celebrate 30 years of partnership between the Missouri Folk Arts Program and the Missouri State Museum with this season's first concert featuring master fiddler John Williams, master guitarist Kenny Applebee and their apprentices. This is a “BYOC” (bring your own chair) event.  

Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, part of the Missouri state park system, is located at 100 Jefferson St., Jefferson City. For more information, contact the museum at 573-751-2854.
