Thunderbird Theater at Washington State Park features local high school theater troupe May 12

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 4, 2018 – Washington State Park will host its annual outdoor Thunderbird Theater event at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the park’s Campground Amphitheater.  This event is free and open to the public.

This year’s Thunderbird Theater will feature the Potosi High School Theater Troupe and its production of “The Mating Game.” This funny tale of finding the right mate in the animal world is fun for all ages. The Friends of Washington State Park volunteer group will sell popcorn and drinks to enjoy during the show.

The production will last approximately one hour. Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor theater experience, and insect repellent is recommended.
