4th annual movie night at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site July 16

Families are invited to the 4th annual movie night July 16 on the campground of Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site. The event will begin at 8 p.m. in the campground of the state park near Lawson.

Guests are invited to watch a classic movie, That Darn Cat!, on a 12’ by 16’ theater-sized outdoor movie screen. This event is free to the public. Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended for seating. In case of rain the event will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 23.

Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site is located at 26600 Park Road North, Lawson. For more information about the event, call 816-580-3387. Missouri State Parks is supported by the one-tenth of one-percent Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax, which accounts for approximately 75 percent of the budget to repair, improve and maintain state parks and historic sites.
