Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site March

Children age three to 10 are invited to hunt for candy-filled eggs at Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site in New Madrid.  The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the historic site.

Guests should bring a basket or bag to search for more than 1,500 candy-filled eggs hidden at the historic site. Children will be divided into four age groups during the hunt and prizes will be awarded.  In case of inclement weather, the hunt will be cancelled.  The event is free and open to the public to attend.
