Fall on the Farm at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site Oct. 10
Learn about rural Missouri life in the 1870s with Fall on the Farm. The event will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site.
The event will be free and open to the public. Activities on display will include sheep shearing, corn shelling, cider pressing, gardening, blacksmithing, woodstove cooking, seed saving, toy making and Victorian children’s games. Tours of the woolen mill will be available for a discounted fee. The Mt. Vernon church and Franklin school will be open.
