Victorian Christmas traditions and ornament class Saturday at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site Nov. 23

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 22, 2019 – The Victorians created many long-lasting holiday traditions, but they sometimes had a very strange way of expressing their holiday cheer! Join us at 1 p.m., Nov. 23, in the visitor center at the Battle of Lexington State Historic Site for the Victorian Christmas Traditions Program. Learn how the Victorians celebrated Christmas and the many traditions they created that are still celebrated today. The program will end with a Victorian Ornament class to create a decoration participants can take home.

The Battle of Lexington State Historic Site is located at 1101 Delaware St. in Lexington. For more information about the program, contact the site at 660-259-4654.
