Easter Egg Hunt at Wallace State Park March 26

Families are invited to come enjoy an afternoon of fun with an Easter egg hunt at Wallace State Park near Cameron. The event will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the enclosed shelter house.

The event will feature nature displays and drawings for prizes. Starting at 2 p.m., kids of all ages are invited to bring their baskets to collect the 2,000 candy and toy filled eggs. Visitors seeking an egg-hunting adventure may search for the hidden golden egg on each of the parks’ four hiking trails to win a special prize.

Wallace State Park is located six miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. For more information about the event, call the park at 816-632-3745. Missouri State Parks is supported by the one-tenth of one-percent Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax, which accounts for approximately 75 percent of the budget to repair, improve and maintain state parks and historic sites.
