Mastodon State Historic Site hosts combined public information meeting Sept. 22
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 7, 2018 – Mastodon State Historic Site invites the public to a combined informational meeting beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the historic site’s museum. The public is invited to share comments about Mastodon, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge and Gov. Daniel Dunklin's Grave state historic sites and their operations. Historic site staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or historic site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
Mastodon State Historic Site is located at 1050 Charles J. Becker Drive, Imperial. For more information about the meeting, call the historic site at 636-464-2976.
