Summaries of recent public meetings held by permit applicants are listed below. Public meetings for each permit applicant includes a permit certificate (if issued), a director's decision and a meeting summary (Attachment 1).

Capital Materials, LLC: Creighton Quarry

Capital Materials, LLC applied for a permit transfer which included the Creighton Quarry, a limestone site, with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Land Reclamation Program June 1, 2016. This site is located in Henry County near Creighton, Mo. An informal public meeting was requested during the public notice period and held August 11, 2016. On September 14, 2016, the director of the Land Reclamation Program made the decision to issue the permit to Capital Materials, LLC. The director's decision was provided to citizens who either attended the informal public meeting, who wrote to request that the meeting be held or provided comments. Attachment I is a summary of the meeting and responses.

Meramec Aggregates, Inc. applied for a permit expansion for a new sand and gravel site with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Land Reclamation Program April 1, 2016. This site is located in Franklin County on the floodplain of the Meramec River near St. Clair. An informal public meeting was requested during the public notice period and held May 26, 2016. On July 7, 2016, the director of the Land Reclamation Program made the decision to issue the permit to Meramec Aggregates Inc. The director's decision was provided to citizens who either attended the informal public meeting or who wrote to request that the meeting be held.
