Are you a city clerk, city manager/administrator, finance director, budget manager, mayor, board member, utility director, public works director, or operator? Is your community responsible for a drinking water and/or wastewater treatment system? These workshops are for you!

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is offering a free educational training opportunity for communities with drinking water and wastewater improvement needs. The department will host a series of infrastructure financing workshops across the state during the summer of 2019.

Each FREE workshop includes water, coffee and a box lunch. The workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to hear about funding opportunities for routine infrastructure improvements and those challenging compliance issues. Presenters will include funding agencies including the department’s Financial Assistance Center and the Soil and Water Conservation Program, U.S. Department of Agriculture-Rural Development, Department of Economic Development Community Development Block Grant, and Energy Loan Program. Gilmore & Bell, P.C. will educate attendees on financing bonds and managing related fiscal hurdles. In addition, attendees will hear success stories from local leaders in their regions. Are you ready to take the planning plunge for funding your community’s water future? If so, register today to learn how publicly owned systems can plan, pay for and build water infrastructure projects.

You may register through EventBrite or by completing the registration forms attached to the agenda.
