Air Monitoring

Nov. 13, 2017 -- Daily Results -- Air monitoring activities continue as the department collects data via our AreaRAE system on a 24 hour per day/7 day per week basis. Daily monitoring events by the department continue to be completed twice per day on a scheduled path.

July 26, 2017 -- Weekly and Monthly Results -- Air sampling activities continue on a weekly basis by the department and total reduced sulfur sampling occurs on a monthly basis.

Neck Heat Extraction System Monthly Report -- As required per the department’s Dec. 4, 2015 approval letter for the November 2015 Technical Evaluation of the Heat Extraction Barrier and as incorporated into the EPA’s April 28, 2016 Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent for Removal Actions (ASAOC), Bridgeton Landfill shall submit a monthly report to the department on the operation and effectiveness of the heat extraction barrier
