Ed Galbraith was appointed the Director of the Division of Environmental Quality for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources on May 29, 2017.Prior to that, he spent eight years in private consulting, primarily on projects related to wastewater, storm water and solid waste.Previously, Ed worked for the Department of Natural Resources for 18 years, including four years as director of the Water Protection Program and two years as the director of the Hazardous Waste Program. He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Missouri.

 

 

 

 

 

Kyra Moore, Deputy Director

Kyra Moore is a deputy director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Environmental Quality. She has worked for the Department of Natural Resources since 1999. Prior to becoming deputy division director in December 2017, she served in different roles in the department, most recently serving as the director of the Air Pollution Control Program for seven years. Kyra holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri Columbia and resides in Columbia, Missouri.

 

 

 

 

 

Carey Bridges, Deputy Director

Photo of Carey BridgesCarey Bridges, RG, is a deputy director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Division of Environmental Quality. She holds a bachelors degree in geology from the University of Central Missouri and a masters degree in geology from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is licensed in Missouri as a registered geologist.

Bridges began her career with the department in 1999 in the Hazardous Waste Program overseeing Superfund sites and later Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Program sites. She served as chief of the Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Unit for more than five years before joining the department’s Missouri Geological Survey as chief of the Wellhead Protection Section in 2011. In 2012, Bridges became director of the department's Geological Survey Program. In 2018, Bridges returned to the Division of Environmental Quality as Deputy Director.
