Taum Sauk Settlement
On Nov. 27, the State of Missouri reached a settlement agreement with AmerenUE over the

The agreement is not final until it is signed by the Reynolds County Circuit Court judge.
Comments: The Consent Judgment provides for an opportunity for public review of 30 to 45 days prior to entry by the court. As of Dec. 27, the Department of Natural Resources has received more than 1,750 e-mails from individuals and organizations supporting the connection of Katy Trail State Park to Pleasant Hill as part of the settlement agreement. Each e-mail will be read and kept for the official settlement record. Most e-mails are very similar in wording.
