Visit the Missouri Department of Natural Resources inside the historic Womans Building at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia from Aug. 11 through 21, 2016.  Located on Missouri State Fair Blvd. and Show Ave. (across from the Pepsi Grandstand), our building is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the Fair.  The Womans Building is #14 on this map.  Read about the history of the Womans Building.

Come learn about the increasing number of black bears in Missouri and how to better prepare yourself to “Be Bear Aware” when spending time in nature, including your state parks.

Pollinators - Missouri State Parks

Explore the world of pollinators in Missouri-from bees to butterflies-and make a fun craft to take home! Worldwide, roughly 1,000 plants are grown for food, beverages, fibers, spices, and medicines. They need to be pollinated by animals in order to produce these goods.

Hover ball Archery - Missouri State Parks

Archery is one of the fastest growing sports in Missouri. Hover ball Archery is an exciting and challenging game for all ages! Learn archery skills and marksmanship when you grab a bow and a foam-tipped safety arrow to try to hit one of the floating ball targets!
