WHO: Agency representatives of the Missouri Departments of Natural Resources and Health and Senior Services, and of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Missouri Rep. Jim Guest, Cameron municipal officials.

WHAT: Presentations on procedures and results of recent testing of Cameron water supplies, upcoming testing at the Rock Wool facility, the Cancer Registry and cancer inquiry, including brain tumors.

WHEN: Thursday, June 26. Media availability: 5:30 until 6:00.  Public availability:
6 p.m. Presentations: 6:30 p.m. Additional public availability: 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: Cameron Senior Nutrition Center, 315 E. 3rd, Cameron, Missouri.

WHY: The Department of Natural Resources and Department of Health and Senior Services have both been working in Cameron because of recent public health concerns. Staff from both departments will be making presentations concerning the Cancer Registry, cancer inquiry investigation, including brain tumors, recent testing and up-coming testing in the area. These staff, as well as staff from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will be on hand before and after the presentations to answer questions.
