JEFFERSON CITY, MO, DEC. 8, 2004 -- The Missouri Small Business Compliance Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at the Department of Natural Resources' Kansas City Regional Office, 500 NE Colbern Road, Lees Summit.

Agenda items include a continued discussion of volatile organic compound retention in the lithographic printing process, open burning regulations, and the department's board and commission operating policies. The agenda will also include a presentation on carbon trading and chicken litter composting, a time for public comment and correspondence, an update of legislation, regulations and activities, and a regional and urban office update of environmental issues affecting businesses.
