Informational meeting at Roaring River State Park Sept. 17
Jefferson City, Mo. - The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting at Roaring River State Park on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Emory Melton Inn and Conference Center. The meeting will discuss both Roaring River State Park and Big Sugar Creek State Park near Pineville.
Park representatives will provide information on future plans for the facility and answer questions. In addition, representatives from the Missouri Department of Conservation will be available to provide information about the hatchery and future plans for the river. MoParks Inc. will also have a representative available to provide information on concessionaire services. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about park services and operations. This public meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
Roaring River State Park is located eight miles south of Cassville on Highway 112 in Barry County.
