Sign up for Hands on History Adventure Day Camp

Jeffeson City, Mo. - Sign up your young historian for the Hands on History Adventure Day Camp June 23- 27 at the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, Hands on History Adventure Day Camp is a week-long opportunity for burgeoning historians to learn about Missouri history and 1800’s skills and crafts using an interactive hands-on approach.

Each day will be filled with fun games, activities, and crafts all revolving around the 1800’s time period. Activities include: butter churning, rope making, candle dipping, campfire cooking, learning to build a log cabin, making paddle boats, bartering, archery, map & compass, animals and more. The cost for the week long camp is $120 per camper and registration is required.
