La Veille at Felix State Historic Site on June 14

Jefferson City, Mo. - Experience historic Ste. Genevieve at La Veille at Felix Valle State Historic Site on Saturday, June 14 from 7-9p.m. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event includes historic demonstrations and an evening social gathering in the garden.

Visitors can enjoy French folktales told in the garden, candlelight tours of the Felix Valle House, French Folk Dances, like the Gavotte de Pont Aven and a special historic dancing program performed by “Dance Discovery.” There will also be free refreshments served on the back porch.

Felix Valle State Historic Site is located in Sainte Genevieve at 198 Merchant St. For more information about the event, call Felix Valle at 573-883-7102.
