Department of Natural Resources hosting Perryville pesticide pickup

Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host a free pesticide collection event May 31 in Perryville. The collection is open to all Missouri residents and farmers and will take unwanted pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides, de-wormers, fly tags and fertilizers containing herbicides or pesticides.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Perry County Road and Bridge shed located at 4803 N. Highway 51. The event, part of the Missouri Pesticide Collection Program, is one of several to be scheduled throughout the summer in different parts of the state.
