Missouri State Parks hosts informational meeting Dec. 15 at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site

The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting Saturday, Dec. 15 at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the meeting will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the historic site.
In addition to First State Capitol, the meeting will address issues related to Edward “Ted” and Pat Jones-Confluence Point State Park in West Alton and the eastern portion of Katy Trail State Park from Matson to Machens. Managers from all three facilities will be at the meeting and provide information about recent accomplishments and future plans. The public is invited to share comments and ask any questions they may have.
The meeting is part of the ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure the public has input on facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
