Missouri State Parks hosts informational meeting Nov. 11 at Battle of Athens State Historic Site

The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting Monday, Nov. 12 at Battle of Athens State Historic Site in Revere. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the site residence.

Representatives from Missouri State Parks will provide information on future plans for the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about the site’s services and operations. In addition to Battle of Athens State Historic Site, the meeting will address comments about Iliniwek Village State Historic Site north of Wayland.

The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
