The event will feature a number of games for kids, including activities related to Nathan Boone, his farm and the natural world at the historic site. A special feature will be a 19th century pickup baseball game called base, which served as the ancestor of today’s baseball. At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., visitors are encouraged to participate in a game of base and imagine what it was like in the 1800s.
