Informational meeting planned June 2 for Morris State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., MAY 23, 2011 – The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting on Thursday, June 2 at Morris State Park near Campbell. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the park’s overlook.
Representatives from Missouri State Parks will discuss what has taken place at the park during the past year and what is being planned for the upcoming year. Staff will answer questions and invite the public to share comments on the park and its services.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the public has input on facilities and services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Morris State Park is located five miles north of Campbell on Route WW in Dunklin County.
