Informational meeting planned Dec. 15 for Grand Gulf State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, DEC. 7, 2010- - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday, Dec.15, to discuss issues related to Grand Gulf State Park near Thayer. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Senior Center located at 100 Chestnut St. in Thayer across from the police station.

Representatives from the park will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and its facilities.

The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
