JEFFERSON CITY, MO. DEC. 1, 2010 – The Missouri Trails Advisory Board will meet Saturday, Dec. 4, to discuss the applications for motorized trail grants through the federal Recreational Trails Program. The board will also discuss and review the 2011 Recreational Trails Program grant application for the FY2011 RTP grant cycle.
The Recreational Trails Program is a federally funded grant program for trail-related construction, maintenance, restoration and development. In Missouri, the Recreational Trails Program funds are administered by the Department of Natural Resources in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration.
