Informational meeting planned Oct. 9 for Bollinger Mill State Historic Site

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 27, 2010 – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting Saturday, Oct. 9, at Bollinger Mill State Historic Site in Burfordville. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
Recent accomplishments at the site, including contributions by the State Parks Youth Corps, will be highlighted during the informal meeting. The department is presently working on replacing the current mill gates and trash rack so visitors can once again experience milling demonstrations. Visitors are invited to share comments regarding site operations and facilities.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Bollinger Mill State Historic Site is located in Burfordville in Cape Girardeau County on Highway HH.
