The Missouri State Museum presents special programs for children during Tuesdays at 2

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 26, 2010 – Tuesday @ 2, a popular children’s summer program at the Missouri State Museum in the State Capitol, will be continued through November, according to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Every Tuesday at 2 p.m., museum staff will present educational programs. The programs are designed for children six to 12 years of age but children of all ages are welcome.
The programs in September will continue to explore Missouri’s cultural and natural history. September programs are:
- Sept. 7 - Dream Catchers
- Sept. 14 - Mammals of Missouri
- Sept. 21 - Owl Pellets
- Sept. 28 - Katy Trail - This tour will start at the Katy Trail trailhead in Jefferson City
All programs, except the Sept. 28 one, will take place on the first floor of the Capitol near the Rotunda. The Katy Trail program will start at the Katy Trail trailhead in Jefferson City.
The Missouri State Museum is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located inside the Missouri State Capitol at 201 W.
