Tuesdays @ 2 programs offered at Missouri State Museum

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 25, 2010 -- Not sure what to do with the kids this summer? Bring them to the Missouri State Museum in the State Capitol every Tuesday at 2 p.m. during July. Tuesdays @ 2 educational programs are designed for children six to 12 years old but children of all ages are welcome.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources staff offers a different program each week that will explore Missouri’s cultural and natural history. Tuesdays @ 2 for July will have the following programs:
- July 6 -- Ready, Aim, Fire
- July 13 -- Nature’s Store
- July 20 -- A Taste of Tradition
- July 27 -- Fossil Hunt
The Missouri State Museum is located inside the Missouri State Capitol at 201 W. Capitol Ave. and is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Programs will take place on the first floor rotunda of the Capitol.
