Informational meeting planned for Harry S Truman State Park June 25

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., JUNE 14, 2010 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Friday, June 25 to discuss issues related to Harry S Truman State Park near Warsaw. The public is invited to the meeting, which will be held at 7 p.m. at the park’s amphitheater in the campground.
Recent accomplishments at the park and future plans will be discussed at the meeting. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park facilities and park operations.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to make sure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Harry S Truman State Park is located six miles west of Warsaw on Hwy 7 and right on Hwy UU for two miles.
