JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 8, 2010 -- The Missouri Air Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting at 9 a.m. on April 29 at the Drury Inn and Suites, 2111 Sulphur Avenue, Clifton A Meeting Room in St. Louis.
At this meeting, the commission will hear routine reports from department staff regarding air permitting, operations and enforcement actions.
A public hearing will also be held for an amendment of 10 Code of State Regulations, or CSR, 10-6.110, known as “Submission of Emission Data, Emission Fees and Process Information.” The proposed rule amendment will align the Air Pollution Control Program reporting requirements with new reporting requirements from the Environmental Protection Agency. Certain businesses are required to regularly submit emission data and other information to the department. Air Pollution Control Program staff use this data to evaluate emission trends and to support strategies for reducing emissions and bringing areas into compliance with air quality standards.
People requiring special services or accommodations to attend the meeting can make arrangements by calling 800-361-4827 or 573-751-4817. Hearing-impaired individuals may contact the program through Relay Missouri at 800-735-2966.
Public hearing documents are available for review at the Air Pollution Control Program, 1659A E. Elm St., Jefferson City and on the Public Notice section of the website at dnr.mo.gov/env/apcp/index.html.
Public hearing items may be adopted by the Missouri Air Conservation Commission as provided for under authority of 643.050, RSMo.
