Painting exhibit opens March 9 at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. FEB. 19, 2010 — Columbia artist Corrine Yeomans Williams will exhibit a collections of her paintings "Through the Years" at the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery from March 9 through May 15. The gallery is in Jefferson Landing State Historic Site in Jefferson City and is administered by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. There will be an artist reception at the gallery from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. March 20.

Williams has been painting and exhibiting in Missouri for more than 20 years. Her works, are primarily oils on canvas and range from landscapes to portraits. She has also teaches painting and has painted special projects, such as murals.

The Elizabeth Rozier Gallery is located in the Union Hotel at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site at 101 Jefferson St. The gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except December.
