Missouri Clean Water Commission to meet Nov. 4 in Columbia, public invited to attend

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- The Missouri Clean Water Commission will hold a public meeting at 9 a.m. on Nov. 4 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 3301 Lemone Industrial Blvd. in Columbia.
At this meeting, staff from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will request the Clean Water Commission to adopt 10 CSR 20-4.040, State Revolving Fund General Assistance Regulations. This amendment will address the changes necessary to take advantage of the funding made available to the Clean Water State Revolving Fund program as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The amendment also streamlines the program, providing loan funds to applicants in a timely manner.
Other items on the agenda include routine reports from DNR's staff regarding permits, operations and enforcement actions. Citizens will have an opportunity to address the commission during open session.
The DNRs requests people intending to give verbal presentations on the proposed public hearing item also provide a written copy of their comments to the commission secretary at the time of the public hearing.
