JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Enjoy a day of old-fashioned family fun at Living History Day to be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at Big Oak Tree State Park near East Prairie. Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the East Prairie Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Watch demonstrations of old-time skills such as loom weaving, trapping, spinning and flintknapping. Old-time children's activities will be available throughout the day. Enjoy the sounds of music by "Bluegrass Revival" and "No Borders." Food will be available for purchase.
